Default Turbo bolts/studs

So yet again i have another problem with this damned engine conversion. The td06 ive put in doesnt have any studs in it. So all ive got is a bunch of nuts and 2 bolts from the top of the down pipe where studs arent used. Can i buy bolts and use them instead of studs?

I have done that with one of the studs on my TD04. Basically the nut seived and the whole stud came out. Couldnt find a replacement so i wacked a bolt through into the thread for the stud and it has been fine, i check it often to make sure though.

they have them on the little spin around racks at repco & supercheap

ask for exhaust flange studs, they come in pairs with brand new nuts

If the fixing is the same as Evo TD05, I still have 3 studs with bolts. Those studs were purchase from Turbotech in Dec. I believed it is cooper not stainless or titanium. If it ever snap it will be much easier to drill out. You can have it if you pick it up from Piara Waters.
