No you can just move the seat a bit forward and get the adapter in there, its hard but ts easier then taking the whole seat out!

be careful generalising...others with different suspension actually set the the rear firmer....its relative to the type of coilover / shocky being used.
Wilkinsons (east), Wheels World (north), Exleys Tyre and Brakes (south) will all be able to help.

And to the model of car...MY02 STi with DMS ....rear harder
MY06 STi with DMS .....same all round.
MY99 with the DMS off the MY02 STi....all way, way softer than the MY02 STi.
And depends on the type of event (motorkhana, sprint, hillclimb) and weather conditions (wet, dry)
Like Morgan says...tap into the experience already out there but also a lot is gained by trying different settings.

All good fun (and sometimes confusing)

Thats because women have boobs, and boob don't have their own shock absorbers!!

not always, it ca make the car very skiddish at high speed, and promote lock up (for the unfortunate enough to be without abs!)

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I am getting some brand new group 4's also and want to know what settings are used on GC8's as the old liberty is closer to this suspension wise. In fact they are the same shock I think.

Question....

How on earth did you land brand new group 4s?!

Ps. As for your question...best to ask Blaise or Clint as the RA has group 4s on it
