Methanol/H2O injection is it a good thing ?

Thoughts on what it does to your engine/turbo in the long run?

Nos doesn't destroy engines

Neither does meth injection

Poorly set up systems and lack of tuning to suit does.

Agreed but constant long term use of nitrous does stress the engine
dose the same apply for meth/h2o?

Nitrous is no more stressful to an engine than turbocharging or supercharging so your statement is invalid.

And I'm not even sure why you are mentioning nitrous and meth/h2o injection in the same context? Ones a power adder, ones a charge cooler....maybe do a little more study on google, the answers are not that hard to find.

Ok i may have went about the post wrong
meth/h2o cools the charged air yes and because of the methanol in the mix adds octane value but the injection to the turbo also can and has damaged turbos as water impacting the turbo rotor/blades pits and can start corrosion of the blades.
the nitrous comment was a side comment as lots of people got it wrong with their shots and overheated the engines.

Actually no, NOS also cools the charge so you dont over heat engines with nos.

That is also why you do your injection after the cooler so it doesnt high pressure wash your turbo blades.

Thanks TJ i lived in the caribbean and saw so many friends over do the nitrous shots and overheat due to the extended redline runs, thats why i brought it up but i've removed it from the post
