gearbox install
Hi im currently changing the clutch on my 5 speed gc8. i am at the stage where the gearbox needs to be raised up and slid back onto the engine. I am struggling to do this. I have it onto the two guide pins, but no matter how much i push / pull / wiggle it just seems to not move at all..
any tips?

Jack under sump with a block of wood and tilt the engine back a bit.

put it in gear and turn the out put shaft which will turn the input shaft. Then wriggle it in. Or put a 22 socket on a breaker bar Attatch to harmonic balancer. Get someone to turn it back and forth and push the box
