Just thought I would post this up, I am wondering what people's experiences of installing a fmic and not tuning the car are. Obviously more lag, but I'm sure most of the cars out there with fmic's haven't had a tune. So how do they run?

Helped a mate install one on his silvia, went from side the front.

In short, there wont be any significant improvement until you get the car tuned.
If you are worried about damaging the car (have no desire to get the car retuned) again probably wont have any effect but why spend the money and effort on something that wont make any difference.

I'd also say 99.9% of cars with front mount would have been tuned. And that .1 percent of cars would be stock evo's

I didn't think there was much point with a front mount intercooler unless you ran crazy power? Otherwise pointless?
