I have ordered a cat back exhaust and just wanted to get opinions on installation. I know there is a lot of good Subaru workshops out there, but is it necessary to go to one of them or could/should I get it down at a regular exhaust outlet.

or peter at carline on newcastle street. honest bloke who knows what he is doing. he is the no BS type who gives you straight answers and usually charge lower or same as your quote.

Cat back won't be too hard to install, granted that you can safely lift the car and get enough space underneath it to work with the basic tools.

Peter did some mods to my exhaust, top block, no bs attitude and was happy to take time to explain a few things whilst he was working on the car.

i got my catback fitted at genie exhausts myaree, only $150 to install.

Had a custom Cat-Back fabricated and installed with a Cat-Less Downpipe there. Top guys and top quality.

I'll never go back to Mettams Morley who when they installed my dump pipe left the vehicle with the intercooler connecting piping damaged and leaking on boost.

Same here, I have used him before when I have needed pipes bent up and welded, never had any issues
