If it was my car, I would take the turbo off send to MTQ or TURBOTEC to look at/rebuild. Take of the intake, all intercooler piping, inlet manifold and intercooler and give it a really good clean and then just hope for the best.

All i could think of is this simple little phrase,

Danger To Manifold

check passenger floor for any loose bolts and check the output of the flux cap:-)

Personally haven't had much success with rebuilt turbos. Preference now is to replace. If the housings are ok you should be able to replace the rotating assembly.

From there just work from the throttle body back to the intake. Remove, inspect, clean, reassemble. Fingers crossed that's the end of it.

I wouldn't expect a doom and gloom outcome. I would bet on the engine being ok.

If it was me, I would do an oil change, clean cooler out, and keep driving.
