I wouldn't expect a doom and gloom outcome. I would bet on the engine being ok.
Sounds like a plan.

the cost of the CHRA centre is not much cheaper than buying a new turbo.

Just buy a diffrerent rear housing so atleast u dont waste the old turbo.

budget around 1.8-2k for a genuine GT35R..

Got the turbo, intercooler and piping all the way back to manifold off. Most of the blastic was pooled up in the entrance side of intercooler. But plastic Definately hit the engine, though I don't think it was much as when I got to the piping on otherside of intercooler and b4 manifold was only a few small pieces. I just hope I find the metal that was broken of the blade. Another scarey thing is that the amount of plastic I found does not equate to a full bag, i haven't flushed intercooler yet.

There so much carbon in the engine a few pieces of fine plastic would do fuck all right?

Use those green re-usable bags next time. Plastic is bad for the environment.

Had some pretty good news today for turbo. Apparently it's just the turbine and should only cost round 300ish to fix. That's sorted.
Only thing that worries me is there was a fragment about 3mm sq missing from one of the blades which I haven't recovered. It could of come out wen I flushed the intercooler as I didn't think before I did it and wasnt able to inspect the debris.

on the topic of objects in the intake, I believe I am able to port and polish my intake manifold by feeding my intake with a fine grade of beach sand.

How many kilowatts should I expect to see at the wheels now?
Do I need to get a re-tune?
American Dave, Strubaru and Soksta like this.
