ive always bedded new pads and rotors together, never had a problem, and dont have the problem of uneven pad wear / rotor wear having uneven contact.
for the ultimate, go dba 5000's and ds3000 pads, work from cold with no fade and they'll pull you up in a heartbeat stepping down to the dba 4000's and ds2500 pads, they take a bit to warm up, and prone to fade after prolonged use, brake relatively well scratching the bottom of the barrel, dba 650's and ts2000 pads, bonus is they work cold, but fade very fast, and only pull up maybe a little better then stock.

is there any difference with the drilled to slotted... in the 4000 series there. cuase im really liking the cross drilled gold 4000 series. is it mainly that u cant use it for motor sport somone told me they can also have a chance of cracking the drilled ones ?? the other question i had was does the 4000 series keep the same dimentions. width and where caliper sits etc Last edited by NVRENUF; 08-06-2006 at 07:03 AM. |

Suck some fluid out of the resevior and leave the cap aside until done, when you push the pistons back into the caliper watch the resevior incase it gets close to overflowing.
Just make sure you dont let the level get to low either or youll put air through your whole brake system, and that would suck. |

are you on crack? rotor manufacturers state you must run new pads when you replace the rotors.... they will bed in alot better
