I have a grimmspeed 3-port bcs. I bought it for my rex but never installed it. Ill sell it to you for 2 cartons of export. Legit deal.

I have a brand new unused and still sealed 08+ model of the Grimmspeed BCS that I don't require at this point in time.
Can be yours this weekend.

Have to excuse my ignorance ( Tony and Soksta ) Do the WRX 08+ and STI 08+ use the same part number for this application or different part for each model?
Actuator spring had the shits and gone home? If so, get a Forge Motorsport actuator. Comes with a spring kit and everything.
Never heard of this but will look at it too.

Cheers Gents

I would say they all use the same control unit, just have different mounting gear. Its a fairly simple unit dont see why they would he different between different models.

Yep different brackets from 08+ WRX to 08+ STi as they are mounted in different places within the engine bay.

08+ WRX one is on the Right and the 08+ STi one is on the Left:

Good work. I had a feeling that might be the case, I looked on Carmods and they are listed as different part numbers.

Cheers.

My 2010 MY 11 had a similar problem on the dyno not making boost and only making 220ish HP. Tuner also said the stock boost controller had failed. After market controller fixed the issue.

RJ999 06-09-2013 11:35 PM

So only on the dyno the boost controller failed? Didnt notice while driving?
Sounds like a common thing on the later models...boost controllers failing, you would notice a drop in performance in your daily drive though,should...
