Default Smoke on start up.

Gday guys/girls,
I'm all new to this. I need some help.
I get a puff of smoke on start up then it disappears (bluish tinge), I've changed the valve stem seals, turbo (TD06-20G) approx 5000km old. No oil in FMIC intercooler, PCV changed, compression tested all okay. Stumped .. Can anyone advise.

blue smoke = oil
Overfilled?
Blow-by... try a catch can and/or try a thicker oil?
Those with more mechanical knowledge than I will chime in...

Oil not overfilled but when topped up, it consumes alot of oil. I do have a Catch Can (no oil in it) and oil used is 10-40.

Worn valve guides?
personally I'd take it to your chosen mechanic if you've checked everything you can think of and it's still leaving you scratching your head. Get a leakdown test done or summin'

Overfilled with oil? Mine did that after a service where they overfilled it by 400ml! Went away after I drained some.

f Subaru, go to blue star or stechnic. They wont charge you through the nose and will more then likely solve or fix the issue, i doubt Subaru will help you much at all
