calm down son, it doesn't need to be at a specific angle, aslong as the sensor is in contact with the block and can read the resonance clearly then there will be no problem

The sensor must be set at a specific angle, so it detects correctly. Specifically, facing rearwards at 60 deg from a line down the centre of the block. The sensor does not detect in full 360 deg sweep. Once again, from the workshop manual.
This is a very important sensor, and must be installed correctly.
