Default Is there such thing as decent CHEAP coilovers?

Just wondering if all the adjustable coilover sets are crappy or if there are any decent ones that people would recommend.
Cheers

Use search box above... lots of good coilovers depends if you want to do it right and spend some money...Tein SS as a minimum and KW Variant 3 if you have the money.

If you want anything cheaper than Teins expect them to perform like what you paid for them

Cheap, reliable, good quality.

Pick two, you wont get all three.

I had zero problems with fully adjustable HSD coilovers, don't know how much they are now but back in the day they were excellent for less than $1500

If the lower section can be removed (ie; it screws off) then they won't be top quality.
Cheap coilovers are often made in this fashion to enable one leg to suit a variety of different applications, not ideal. They will often loosen over time and change their adjustment. The threads often wear and/or sieze there.
Inverted shocks (ones with 40+mm shafts) are made to hold geometry better than small shafts shocks (typically 25mm shaft) Designed primarily for racing use their strength and operation are ideal for short term use, far from ideal for road use where the only lubrication they get is the initial grease from factory. Small shaft coilovers are lubed by the shock oil and are better suited to road car application where they will see many thousands of km between services (if ever)

any particular reason you want coilovers?
there are other alternatives like koni inserts if you just want to change the shocks
