Mine don't squeak - when you first fit them, you need to bed them in really well.

Like $1.50 to $0.40 - 4-5 hard braking applications in a row, followed by 10 mins of normal driving without touching the brakes.

You need to pick your road and time carefully obv.

Don't cheap out. My Dixcel Type M are practically silent ... except when reversing

In the end ... who gives a fuck it's an Sti. Everything about them is noisy as fark. If you want quiet get an Audi.

haha yea I don't care about general noise, rattles, or brake squeal when braking...

brake squeal when just driving around not applying brakes though is really pissing me off...I'm going to bed them in properly (Cheers Blues/Rossco hehe!)

If its making noise when driving it means they are rubbing. Thats not meant to happen. Id say its your rotors are stuffed of the brake calipers arent coming back propperly.

Agreed with Russ. The pistons in your calipers could sticking. They may need a bleed. You just had the rotors skimmed so id say they are pretty clean. But you could have contaminated pads which will make then noise and at worse preform like shit.
