Default help rpm idling issue

Hi,

I installed a turbo inlet hose on my 2012 sti due to the old one having a leak in it

Everything is installed correctly I've triple checked all fittings

When the car is cold its idles low then high and settles down to about 1000rpm then very slowly drops to to about 600rpm after

is this normal?

any advice or input is appreciated

When you start the engine on cold without A/C should be 1.2k-1.35K rpm n then it will drop to 800 rpm when is normal idle. If ya car still run 600rpm. Without rough idle is okay. Just need to adjust the idle to 800rpm without a/c on.

You can't adjust the idle speed on a 2012 STi, it's drive by wire throttle and controlled by the ECM. The only way is a flash tune.
600rpm is a little low, check the hose is installed properly. Then maybe get it checked by a dealer or your preferred workshop.
Why did you install it yourself? The car must be still in new car warranty, or very close.
Edit: just read your sig, maybe too far modded for warranty, either way, get it double checked

I know yu can't adjust yaself. Take to the dealership. They have the select monitor to do it. It wont carry warranty for a my12 sti n now 2014.
