Default Fuel issues and noises

Hey guys,

During my last service I got the ECU wiped/flashed because of some issues regarding transmission etc (automatic )

Anyways, I've noticed after this that the fuel consumption for my car has skyrocketed, what could be the possible causes for this?

Also have a squeaking noise coming from on of the wheels which seems to go away when the wheel is turned to a certain point or I press on the brakes but reappears soon after, it squeaks at roughly identical intervals continuously until I perform one of the afformentioned actions. Sounds a little like something scraping on the rotor or something as it is spinning but I cannot see anything, could also be a CV joint? I'm lost for options.

Cheers

The squeek is one of your pad wear indicators doing it's job - your pads need changing!

Hey guys sorry but does anyone have any feedback on the fuel consumption?

Also have a possible whining diff, there's a very noticable whine whilst driving at ~80km/h and 100km/h I thought it was the diff until I got some new rubber and the noise stopped completely, though now after some months or owning the new tyres the noise has come back and is gradually getting louder

Then the squeaking will be the pads catching the rotor...check that the anti-squeal shims were put back when pads were changed.
