Do u have a cold air intake?

If so, refer to first pic; otherwise mount on battery, 2nd pic

hmm those are definitely interesting options wouldn't have even thought of them myself.


Yea no cold air intake(no plans for it either) i think in-front of battery will be the best bet its where i thought.

Gravity will make sure no oil goes back, I would use breather instead of feed back to inlet though. Its illegal, there will be no oil back to combustion chamber.

If your catch can is actually working the outlet from the can back to the motor should be oil free, if it's wet your catch can system isn't working (or you didn't empty the can before it overflowed).

3/4 of the catch cans on the market don't have an internal baffle that forces the gases to change direction & throw the oil out of suspension - this makes them look the goods but achieve nothing.

I've always had a return to sump baffled catch can set up.

The can vents the breathers to atmosphere but any oil caught gets returned to sump. The small quantity of moisture kept in the oil simply evaporates. Very effective and reduces oil consumption dramatically.

Here was mine.

good thinking, how is oil being rutruned to sump? cranks breather? directly back to sump?
