If you want a decent organic Exeddy for street and track go see Mick at Japline he gets a kit made up with the sports pressure plate and heavy duty Exeddy clutch plate same combo he uses in his cars I think there around 700-750 from memory .

The Competition Clutch stage 2 is what I use and it does have a heavier feel then the Exeddy but it does also have a heavier pressure plate . If it was just a daily id look at the stage 1 Competition Clutch or Micks Exeddy combo as the extra heavyness is a pain in stop start traffic . Be aware the stage one is only rated to 350 flywheel horsepower from memory before she will slip.

Do you have any information as to what his custom kit is rated too? and any extras I'll need when it comes to aligning with the flywheel?

His kits are good for at least 400 id say as he runs one in his EVO . Late Evo and Subaru 6 speed use the same clutch . Have fitted 2 from him to cars with 300+ ATW and haven't had an issue.

oops sorry. this one is a 5spd kit. push style.

its done very few launchs actually. I didnt start racing the car until i did the driveline swap for fear of braking the teeth of my 5spd gear set. I did do a WAW night and maybe a few good traffic light launchs.

Okay I'm gonna go for that kit then, Mike quoted me $675 for supply of the kit, would you recommend I also go there for the clutch installation? Trying to find a cheap garage to fit my clutch!:D

That's up to you mate Mick has a good reputation so why not . His work doesn't get complaints . Or Stechnic . May as well get him to do it . Then he will back it up for you if in the unlikely chance there is any problems .

use a Jim Berry remake of a twin plate that didn't like the power and shat itself, very happy with my crutch now, no slippage to get you in the shit..
