5 Spd Gearbox Strength?
Hey Guys,
Just wanting some input. How strong is the 5 speed GB out of a MY05 WRX compared to a MY99 Version 6. 5 speed GB ? Does anyone have any experience on this? Cheers

To my knowledge 1st and 2nd gears are larger and a bit stronger in the GD 5 speeds than the GC's.

300,000km on my version 6 5 speed........still coping with 320hp at the hubs & a 1/2 organic / 1/2 puck rpm clutch with no issue.
