Hey guys just wondering if the 2003 wrx coil will fit on 2009wrx , sorry if sound dumb but not really know much about wrx thanks

it should fit yes, make sure they are the same colour, you cant mix black and grey ones.
The rubber boot might be different but you can just swap them.If the MY03 one is balck you can't use it, but if it is grey it will be fine, reason being, the grey coil is designed to handle more dwell then the black ones and the black ones will overheat.

I found a set of coil on gumtree it said 2000 model n up should fit , I wanted to make it fit before I comkit to buy

as long as they are grey in colour, they will be ok
