Hey guys,
Tell me all about your headers(extractors), size, how much, what you would get next time, equal or unequal. Just want to hear everyones opinions. Thanks Last edited by joel7; 10-10-2014 at 05:02 PM. |

I literaly got one from Ultrex, top quality, It si also rebranded Tomei (from the same factory). Get equal length plz, its more efficient way of collecting Exhasut gas, and it helps to even exhaust temp.
EL header will make car a bit laggier below 3K rpm, and I feel car has less torque a partial throttle. But above 3.5K, car pulls a lot faster. U need to either ceremic coat or heap wrap the header to get the most of it, they help sending more energy to turbo.

Ultrex or Kinugawa Headers sold by Kando Dynamics on Ebay are good. Same product, both of which are unbranded Tomei expreme units. Very good quality, they fit and come with all associated hardware - much better than the cheaper units I've come across.
Had mine ceramic coated by CIC, heat wrap is cheaper though but would recommend researching both processes before making a decision. Chose UEL, gave the car a much more aggressive sound which I was more than happy with. Have had mine on since February without issue. |
