Default Possible cam angle sensor?

About a month ago the car showed cel at high revs which I never got scanned but from research I was sure it was cam angle sensor.

Lately the car doesn't like to spark first time I turn the key in the mornings, but once it has turned over and has warmed up etc it's fine. Could this be as simple as the cam angle sensor? I haven't really gotten any other symptoms that you would expect like rough idle, loss of power or anything noticeable, just this weird failure to start once a day. Is it worth resetting the ecu?

Cam angle sensor is easy to diagnose. When it won't start give it a "bump start" without actually starting, don't put key to ON, to turn over engine a bit. Car should then start immediately using starter motor as normal.

Cam angle sensor is at top of motor. Easy to change yourself. Get from OS if possible as Subaru AUS charges crack prices for little sensor.

Issue is due to heat soak from engine over time. Becomes intermittent failure then gets worse.

Thanks for your help. I think that could be the issue, it has become more frequent as of past couple of days. Will report back
