Default MY05 WRX Rear Hubs "Peanut shape"

Hey Guys,

I'm just wondering if the rear hubs from a MY05 wrx can be fitted to a MY99 wrx? Are they a direct swap or will I run into problems?

Cheers

From memory the GD chassis has a wider rear track opposed to the GC8 being narrow.

Someone can clarify this though. It's can be done

Track difference is in the arms

As for the hub as long as. Its. R160 it shouldn't be a problem I have used both

brake set up maybe different depending on what's on your car now if you have 2pots will bolt up if not you will need to get a set and the correct discs

The only thing I'm not 100% on is the abs sensor

Msg Strubaru he did the swap on his foz of same age

This is what I wasn't sure about. The ABS. I'm hoping to get away with just swapping hubs only as the bearings on my WRX are fubar.

Can confirm the arms are different length, GD lateral arms are about 1/2" longer than GC. Otherwise, pretty much identical.

Learnt that the hard way :S
