Not at all. They have a very good adjustment range from stiff for the track and soft(ish) for the road. Although saying that I have never had mine anywhere near the softest setting for the road and I find them perfectly ok. I guess its personal taste though.

I was just to lazy to change them.. it's as simple as jumping under the car and turning then a couple of clicks.
