Default Blown head gasket. What are my options.

As stated my 2005 sti has done its head gasket. I've been quoted 3.5-4k to repair it.

Engines done 170k, and only has a ecutek tune and an exhaust.

Now I'm no expert on the costs of building engines, half cuts or what my best option is here. If anyone could pipe up with which direction they would take here. And give me a ballpark $$$. Personally I cant justify waxing 4k getting my car back how it was, I'm thinking of selling as is or throwing some more money at it and getting something bigger and better.

Let me know your thoughts
