Fixing a blown head gasket on 03 outback H6
Hi all,
A friend of Mine has an 03 outback H6 with blown head gasket. Is this a hard thing to fix? I know it's engine out job obviously, but does anyone have the tools or no how to do the job? I was thinking of buying it off him an fixing it up as a second car if I can ey it done cheapish. Would love to offer someone a cashy if they can do it!? Cheers, Dan |

You will need to machine head etc - wont be something you can slap together.
Either that or buy it cheap, slap 3 bottles of chemi weld in it and enjoy

It is a MASSIVE job.
timing chain covers need to come off, they have >50 bolts of various lengths. these engines are also an oil leaking nightmare. I've has one apart to repair it and have no intention of doing another.
