Default Blouch 2.5XT Twin Scroll

All,

Troy from Prospeed contacted me a few weeks ago with an offer too good to pass up.

My V6 Sti is currently running with a BBK TD05-20G with the billet wheel (Twin Scroll), whilst this made reasonable power I was not totally satisfied given I have a stroker with cams, injectors etc.

This Blouch turbo is a totally new turbo, custom twin scroll housing (this is the main cause of restriction with aftermarket twin scrolls), Ball bearing Garrett core and Billet wheels.

The BBK is sleeve bearing!

Not sure when I can get it installed and tuned, but will update here when I do.

If this one does not work then I'm selling the car

Here is some pic's :-

Nice one, Gav!! Sure is a pretty piece of kit.

The BBK made 310hp and 430nm at the wheels (ASG).

It goes better than the VF36 and VF37, I have tried the Kando Twin Scroll (Crap), the current BBK goes well, Rossco has been in the car and can testify to that.

It's just a 'drug' called more!!

I would hope to get at least 350hp as a start, the TMIC may start to limit things.

cheers

Did the VF36 spool any better than you current BBK? I know that drug caller more but just curious as to how much later in the RPM you get max boost? or is the BBK better all over?

cheers

VF36 did spool better, it is a ball bearing and smaller turbo, but ran out of puff.

The VF36 made 265hp and 390nm at the wheels.
