Being somewhat mechanically challenged, I keep seeing this ad on TV and wonder if it's just a load of scam? Wouldn't be the 1st time I've seen so-called units that give amazing results in performance, economy and the like; after owning 19 cars and driving for almost 37 years.

Searched before posting, saw nothing on here so far.

Also noted on their website that there are only optioned for the 2.5L STi and the 2.0L Diesel. Wonder why not the 2.0L EJ's?

Anyone on here seriously looked at, or even installed this chip in their beloved ride?

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but curiosity has the better of me, and like I said, search came up zilch.

Don't know if it's the same thing, but RaceTune are commanding much more $$$ for their product... I'd luv to see a vid of these guys doing the same comparo on the Racetune unit as they did with the $20 eBay unit, which turned out to be nothing more than an LED light changer !!!

Hahaha... makes me remember when my bro-in-law got a Chinese Bluetooth dongle in the pioneer days of Bluetooth... when it didn't work he opened it up and found circuit for nothing more than a blue flashing light !!!

Given that RaceTune are paying the $$$ throwing up these fancy ads on local TV, I still wonder if they have actually come up with something that works, and gives significant increased KWATW?

My main motive for investigating is that there has not, to my knowledge, been a crack, or if it was even possible, like the Verso on the later models?
