Default Electronic boost controller help!

Hi Guys,

I have just installed a GFB G-Force II electronic boost controller;

http://gfb.com.au/images/stories/dow...ctions3003.pdf

Now, i took the vacum lines from the turbo pressure and plugged it in to the correct port on the G-Force solanoid. I also did the same for the waste gate acuator. Then when i went for a drive, changed some settings on the controller the car wouldn't boost above 5-6 PSI.

I noticed the is another hose going from the stock solanoid to the Induction hose near the filter box. does that have to be capped or do i plug it in to the G-Force solanoid?

Thanks

You can cap this out or if you want to be "green", u can connect it to port 1.

Have fun.

cheers for the reply.

I was thinking the same thing...but will that help my problem of not being able to boost over 5 psi even with the duty cycle and gain turned up...?

Make sure that port 1 is not blocked up?
If all else fail, re-check plumbing and programming.

Will be happy to help, but first approach your retailer for support. Otherwise, feel free to PM me and will gladly help u out.

Also, just realised that this GFB controller is not rpm variable.

U will need a RPM based controller for the Subaru as it is susceptible to boost variance between different rpms and gear shifts.

Has anyone got a set of instructions or can tell me where to pull vacuum from and how to remove the stock controller without throwing codes. I installed it as best I could but now the car doesn't idle smooth and has engine light on aswell as the cruise won't wok or the traction control.

They're shit. Buy a 3 port boost solenoid and get the car tuned if you want gains.
