Default Ringland anyone?

After pushing 20 pounds into the car for a couple of years the change to equal length headers seems to have coincided with the need for some forged Pistons.

I am going to swap out engines in a months time once I have got some zerolift TGVs, air pump delete plates and a silicon inlet( although I would prefer an AMR hard pipe but can't justify the cost).

Symptoms of the failure are increased oil consumption but with no smoke on startup or with regular driving up to about 4500rpm. If wide open after that then I get the gadget smokescreen and light soot on the back bumper and window.

Is there anything else besides clutch and flywheel that I should consider whilst making the change? Note that my long engine is already assembled and is only a stage one engine with Manley Pistons, arp and all usual stuff.

At least this change will set up the engine ready for an eventual switch to flex fuel once rom raider develops a suitable implementation. Turbo is currently stock. Car is an 08 Sti.

Cheers
