Yeah sort of took the car to mao this arvo yeah thinks old maf is fine i was just being to cautious but better safe then sorry he hooked up his diagnostic scanner thingy it popped up maf and knock sensor so we went for a drive and so he cleared ecu with with no problems.he said its fine to drive but if there is a cel again new maf it is. so far so good drove from bently to shoalwater and no cel or shit idle.mao couldn't be more helpful champ

Ok then cel came back on yesterday went to mao he said it was knock sensor replace it with new one so today i went to veales and got sensor and installled bitch of a thing to do now i have a constant cel and car is in limp mode which didnt have before and had a intermediate cel and no limp mode help this is driving nuts

Checked the codes comes up with 22 knock sensor and reset the ecu and still no luck and still in limp mode

Wild guess... Was the knock sensor a direct plug in, or did you have to re-wire it? Does the code go away if you plug the old knock sensor back in? Trying to eliminate a wiring problem or incorrect/wrong/faulty new sensor..

And how did you reset the ECU? Disconnect battery (for how long) or connect green and black connectors under the dash?

Yeah it was a direct plug in and the old and new sensor look indentical done the ecu reset by black green connectors havnt tried plugging old sensor in because bitch of a thing to do have to remove ic
