Lubrication For CAMS in STi Heads
Hey Guys,
I'm interested to know what peoples thoughts are on lubrication for heads when being assembled. I've seen MRT Performance use a red lubricant where the CAMS sit. Is this the best stuff to use for a EJ257? Also does anyone know what this lubricant is called? Cheers

It is most likely either engine assembly lubricant or camshaft break-in lubricant (if the camshafts are new).
Various companies sell these type of products. Redline Oil as an example. Speak with a reputable engine builder, a decent performance parts supplier or look around online.
