Does a remote power steer reservoir need to be higher than the pump?
I've fitted a GD power steer pump to my GC and I'm trying to decide where to fit the reservoir.
The nicest place i can cram it is behind the headlight in the picture, but I'm worried that i need gravity to give it all a hand. Does anyone know if the pump is a vacuum type pump and will draw the fluid up out of the tank? It detaches from the bracket, so I'm hoping i can just hold it up above the pump to prime/bleed the air out of it after filling it, then clip it back down low once its all airtight.
