Default New Clutch Ideas

sup ya'll

apparently my clutch is 80-85% worn so i thought i should start arksin sum q's to find out my options.
RMS have quoted me a heavy duty organic clutch - $750 drive in drive out.
ive had a look on the forums about what everyone else is looking at doin but your threads end up in total bullshyzah.
I dont expect im gonna go venture into heavily modifing my engine as in a couple of years im gonna upgrade from bug eye to the latest of our kind (tax deduction). id like something that isnt soft im generally for the STIFFer side of things but not something that my mrs cant drive and not gonna be putting me hugely out of pocket.
any info for what blows your hair back will be great
cheers all in advance

The heavy duty organic will be fine, little if any extra effort required in the foot department.

Do rms source out their clutch rebuilds? I know a few shops send it to Autoclutch....

I had Autoclutch rebuild my clutch and put in all the new bits and pieces! Cost was around that and I Ross was pretty cool to deal with!

Ideal for my situation (normal driving / stock car!)

You are going to upgrade in a couple of years so you don't want to modify?

id suggest an off the shelf replacement exeedy sports tuff clutch, its cheaper then the 'stock replacement' exeedy clutch, you get a brand new pressure plate, release bearing and clutch plate.

cost is only marginally more expensive then a remanufactured clutch, and is just as easy as stock to operate
