Im thinking of buying the 6 speed gear box and was wondering whats the prices?

I have heard it would be around $5000 drive in drive out to fit a 6spd

6's are about 7-8k alone for the unit plus fitting - forester sti spec 6 speed are a little cheaper if/when available.

not forgeting some have a taller gearing in 5th and 6th, like the forester, B spec liberty and the 06 sti... the B spec liberty has no speedo input drive on the box and a open front diff, the liberty GT is the same with the 5speed.... plus theres the added bonus of DCCD on some boxes.........

You could them reallyu cheap ie: $3.5K, now they are in short supply and the prices are $6K just for the box plus fitting and all the other bits.
