I don't mind my dms40's at all, feel great work well etc, no problems. I think i heard that the first version of these had to be serviced every 3 months, but with later models thats not required. Correct me if i'm wrong

DMS Gold 40mm had stiction problems with the rear struts when they first came out.
Numerous guys here online had to pull them out for servicing every 3-6 months. Major pain in the ass and $$$$ DMS have since put a new double seal on the struts that seems to have fixed the problem. Hopefully permanentely. Mine are currently at MMS getting new seals put into them before they go on the car. I think I payed around $2000 new a while back.. Clearance Sale. Speak to Rob Herridge at Maximum Motorsport on 9249 7444 for a no bullshit explanation. Last edited by WRXTASY; 31-07-2006 at 12:09 AM. |

Had them (40's) on my '02 STi for 4 years and now in the '06.
They are good. No stiction in the '02 after re-sealed...2 years driving. '06 has the comp version of the 40's. Talk to Rob at MMS. |
