Perrin BOV vs TurboSmart BOV
Anyone got any pros or cons for Perrin or Turbosmart recirc BOVs? My Turbosmart BOV spring has just broken but I was looking at trying the Perrin one anyways (mostly because I'm letting out my inner ricer and want to colour match things) But if its genuinely worst quality then I'll just replace the spring. I'm not expecting one or the other to be any different from a performance gain/loss perspective though, I just cant seem to find any reviews on the quality of newer model Perrin ones. These are the two I'm referring too:

I have the Turbosmart unit, fully recirculating, fully adjustable, fully comprehensible, fully aware, self terminating, self regulating, user friendly, automatic, automated, and online.
I paid $300 or thereabouts, and wish I bought a $50 unit because it does nothing that a $50 unit wouldn't do. I only moved away from the factory BOV because I installed a larger top mount cooler and the factory unit would have hit the coilpack. Replace the spring in yours, and save the money for something else. Last edited by matto20v; 13-06-2016 at 08:22 AM. |
