Default PCV leak, easy fix?

Hey guys, I've come across a PCV leak, seems to be mostly coming form that stem like part. Is that just a simple hose replacement to fix or is there actually a part i'll need to buy? the right hand hose to the PCV valve will be an easy replacement so no worries there. Just don't want to go pulling it apart without having the parts to fix it.

Also I've heard of people blocking off the PCV system? anyone know if its worth while or not, seems like a common place for oil leaks.
Cheers
