roughly how many kilowatts of power do you get from an increase in boost of 0.1bar?
i was searching through google and there are converters for horsepower to kilowatts and bar to psi.
however i was wondering for every 0.1 bar increase in boost pressure, roughly what does this equate to in engine power increase in kilowatts? i know that this depends on the type of wrx and the type of mods done on the car, but for this case, my car is a 1998 wrx, with modified full exhaust and air filter. |

It's complex.
Not so much increase in boost but increase in air volume. (correct me if I'm wrong)

I'd say you'd be right Pete, most important factors would be volume & density. Interesting tho that someone worked out a hp approximate for a stock car. I guess an advantage of having one of the most popularly modded cars around.
