Default Excessive vibration at takeoff

Hi guys. No wobbly flywheel jokes!

When my cars cold it takes off very smoothly. I dont have to give it much gas, cluch release and everything is just normal nice smooth and all that.

But when my car is up to temp its pretty jittery. At certain rpms and depending how fast i release tge cluch the vibration is embarressing. My dash and spoiler start bouncing around and shit. I can avoid it for tge most part by giving it more gas and releasing the clutch faster. Its harder to avoid if iv got more weight(people) in the car.

This issue is only present at takeoff where i ride the clutch for a second.

Any thoughts as to what my problem is? Shit driver or an old component?

Thanks.

Do you know what clutch is installed? Factory or aftermarket?

I have an MY99/00 GC8 and when I had the factory clutch, it was quite grippy and the car would shudder if I didn't engage it just right. Ironically, with an aftermarket "stage 2" clutch, its a smooth as butter now.

I think its the origional clutch. To my knowlege it has never been changed, although i dont know what happened to the car before i got it. Its got 163 000 or thereabout on it now, it had 140 or so when i bought it, before i got a new block put in. Actually i think doug said the clutch had too much meat on it to warrant replacing at that point.
I find it odd that its normal when the engine is cold. I think i noticed this issue after (or more so) after i got the car tuned. But that was so long ago i cant recall what it was like before then.

Won't be anything to do with the tune. Sounds like plain old wear and tear if it has gotten worse with time. Probably time for a new clutch bro. Where is the take up point in the pedal travel? Down low or up higher in the second half of the pedal?

I cant say right now, the cars in perth and im in dunsborough. Id didnt notice the clutch point to be high, but i might have gotten used to it. Il let u know when i get it back. It has just had a service when i got stechnic to put it back together and rectify my shitty work. Next time i put it in il mention it to them, if it doesnt get too bad before then.
Thanks for the help!

I concur that a new clutch is in order. Mabey the higher idle rpm while cold was making me engage the clutch just right before, but now its a bit shitty all round.
So long as this doesnt affect anything else im gona let it wait until the next service if i can. In about 9000km.
Thanks for the advice again guys.
