As read before, stock reflectors will disperse the light and you will get a lot of flash flash from other drivers. Also I think it is also a canary offence to have HID's in a non projector headlight?? Projectors will concentrate the beam in the desired location. Go the projectors to prevent any hassle.

ebay china specs are nealry as good as the branded kits these days.

JDM STi;s came with 4300K HID in a non reflector, non projector housing thats your best option if your worried about complying with law and insurance.

The only way your going to get a projector housing in an 05 is to have it fabricated by a specialised company a few guys in the states do it too, well worth the effort if you have the time and $$$.

Honestly though theres 1001 cars out there running hids in a non projector housing and no big noise has been made of it.

yup you would need 2 kits.

12k is very purlple and nearly useless. Keep your halogens for highs, especially if you use them for flashing and not country driving.

HID's are illegal regardless of whether they they're projectors or not. To be legal, they need to be auto-levelling and have washers.

Having said that, you'll get away with it much easier with projectors. Reflectives lights + HIDs are farking annoying!
