Default Bugeye with a big miss

My bugeye is experiencing a severe miss from 3500rpm onwards. It sounds like it has launch control. The plugs are also black as charcoal.
I have replace the plugs, coils and Mass air flow with no change. I’ve checked the coil and injector plugs as well as the earths and all seems to be ok. I even did a compression test. It had a timing belt a few months back.
Any ideas and what should I do next?
