You mean you can't get the pulley off, or you can't get the bolt out?
The pulley should just slide off (might need a bit of elbow grease if siezed on) but if you cant get the bolt undone you will need the correct size 1/2" drive socket and a breaker bar (about 500mm long) put the bar and socket on the bolt with the other end touching the floor at the passenger side (R/H/S as your looking at it) and get someone to give the ignition a quick flick (enough to turn the engine but not start the car. Just watch the bar doesn't flick back and hit something in the engine bay.....

Default pulley

I made a copy of a Subaru tool that holds the pulley in place, while you use the breaker bar to loosen the bolt,if you were closer I would bring it over.but you are welcome to borrow it.

yes you need to crack the nut holding it on.

dunno if this applies to subarus but put it in 5th gear and get someone to get on the brakes. wack some wd40 on it. and use a big fucken breaker bar.

Also use upper engine cleaner on the bolt (fair bit) , helps it move a little easier too. Mine was rusted on pretty tight and the amount of orange crap that came flowing out the bolt was impressive.
