If you can confirm its 4.11 TJ go to jap wholesale, they'll have some there. Around $300 is the norm.

Well when the car was built they used 4.1's

Its very obvious these bolts had not been moved in a long time. It says 4.1 on them, Asides from cracking it open and counting teeth any other clues to confirm it?

Ok some updates :

Spoke to a friend of mine who had alot to do with the car originally :

Not the original diff they put in the car. Car originally came with a Sti RA box! They used a 4.1 diff at the time, and it ruined a few things as RA is 4.4 , so the 4.1 diff came out for a 4.4 one. It then broke the box, so in went a 4.1 box and diff. Since then its been replaced at least once... the AAJ is the name of a Japanese wrecking yard. The TP stamped on the box means its a forrestor 4.4 diff, but the inards have been swapped upon checking. So after all that its a 4.1

I just got a 4.1 diff and spare shafts for a brilliant price

Hmmm

Very long night....

Say hypothetically, if my front diff was actually a 4.3... with a 4.11 box, and a 4.11 rear now... how soon am I going to break something and what will it be?

tj.

Does the centre diff have drop gears or is it 1:1?
