Hi all,
I am in the process of putting my engine back together and am just seeing if anyone here has done a similar rebuild. I have had my v6 205 heads rebuilt by Neil at the engine shop, kelford 272 cams and shimless buckets fitted. Turbo upgraded to a blouch 1.5XTR 7cm and new ID injectors with parallel fuel rail. I did get the AVO intake, but the line up of the boost recirc pipe is shocking, so have jimmied up a solution for now, but am not 100% happy with it. Just wondering how others have got around this issue? Also, there is an extra breather pipe coming out of the block next to the PCV one, just wondering if it is worth plumbing this into the breather lines also, or plugging it off and just keeping the original breather setup? If you've done this, I'd love to have a chat to see how you have dealt with some of these differences. Cheers, Ray. |

Is the turbo currently fitted with the intake?
I'm running an AVO intake on my '99 GC8 engine and aside from needing to cut ~25mm off the inlet where it joins to the turbo, it all worked quite well. Did you buy it new or used? |

I just did this, for a V2 STI, i just pulled the extra breather pipe out and got a plug made and 1512'd it in, the breather was hitting the coolant crossover for me, so had to go. PCV still in with catch can installed between intake and PCV
