GFB shortshift kit
Just bought a gfb short shift kit for my 06 wrx , is there any handy hints into fitting them or are they pretty straight forward ?

pretty straight forwards... if its the one im thinking about... keep it on the middle setting for a week (to get used to it) then go to the shortest throw
 need a hammer to bash to the shifter into the gbox ball socket

installed mine today, lost 6th gear, and reverse is a prik to get in, yet its not hitting anything in the mechanical area?

My 5spd one is awesome
as intra said, i had mine on the middle setting for a couple weeks/month and then changed it to the shortest setting possible it's pretty good like that, altho when others hop into my car they usualy miss 3rd an put it into 5th lol Cheers! - SiriX

yea GFB short shift was the best mod ive done i think
great feel, not too notchy.
