I have the same exact mod on my car. I have the display mounted flush into the dash.

No need to worry about wiring it in to the 12v car supply though. Those things use very little power. I have had my constantly on for the last two months running on the pill battery that is supplied.

Go to jaycar on newcastle street in Northbridge. Get it for $39.95.

I have a pod sucking in hot engine bay air going through a Water IC. Running on a VF8 Turbo at 16psi. These Water IC are much more efficient than the standard air IC than modern Subaru's use. The only reason Subaru stopped using them is because they are complex and expensive to manufacture. Plus these Water IC's can flow up to 180kw at the wheels.

On a 20 degree day, I get intake temps of around 25 degrees just driving along.
If I put my foot down and have a run through first second and third, temps get up to around 40degrees. But as soon as I stop, they drop back down pretty quickly.

If I keep my foot buried and give It an extended thrashing... temps get up to and flatten off at around 50 degrees. I have never seen my temps go beyond 55 degrees. (Still waiting until summer though).

Thats a massive change in temp. I had no idea water/meth spray was that significant.

It surely does work..... this was just water im pretty sure no meth. As it sprayed ud watch temp go from 45-50 straight down to 25-30.

On my front mount even after a super heavy thrash session the intake end of the tank is cold to the touch and the turbo side is about 35 degrees hot. I think thats standard for any high quality front mount... HKS make nice ones and mines 10cm thick i think.
