hey everyone

well i blew my gearbox yesterday right out front of work mind u and from wat i can feel is that first gear is gone! i know that there might be some other components broken in there as well. Does anyone know how much its going to cost to replace 1st with a standard gear coz i am selling the car in a couple of months otherwise i would go for some ppg love.

I reckon it's cheaper to go 2nd hand box mate...had mine done by ASG not so long ago $1800 all up with Motul oil from a low kms car and till today i am happy as a pig in shit with it. No noises, smooth changes...also depends if u gonna do it yourself.

Average price to take off the box is around $400 and same to put it back on...you can count the rest

you mean about 300-400 in and out, not for both?

now you got me confused you might be right though

you don't want to crack a box open. not worth the hassles.
just buy a 2nd hand box and you're sorted
