Default 06 sti coilovers

Hi all,

Well I think its about time the beast gets lowered and stops lookin like a semi.

Looking at spending around the $2.5k mark, obviously cheaper the better, but I dont want crap.
Something good for a daily driver yet still adjustable for track use (nothing too hardcore though).

So far I've come up with the following:

- Tein SS (aussie spec)
- DMS 40's
- Whiteline group 4's (If anyone wants to part with theirs )

What are you guys with 06's running? Whats good about em? Whats bad? What would you swap them for? What'd they cost you?

Cheers in advance
Luca.

DMS 40's are fantastic. They are in my daily driver and are pretty much set at trac settings 24/7. Get john at wheels world to set them up and u'll be a very happy person

John @ Wheels World seems very happy with the Tein SS w/ EDFC. I know he's setup a few Evo's with these coils and was mighty impressed. I'm sure it'll be a similar result with an STi. Muggz is also happy with these coilovers!

I rate my Group4s highly. After John setup them up properly, the car was simply amazing. Stinga runs them on his 06 STi too.

You would be looking close to 4k for the DMS40's fitted.
I have a set fitted with Noltec strut tops & am wrapped one of the best mods ive done.

RMS & MMS are DMS dealers in WA

Hmm thats way out of my budget.

What is there around the $2k - $3k mark?

At the moment looks like DMS is out of the picture, leaving tein SS's

Get tein super streets, Alex from RMS although a DMS dealer uses them in his dedicated track car, and hey will set you back about 2800 with EDFC
