Default Replacing TMIC

Folks,
What the go with replacing a standard TMIC on a 01 bug eye to a STI TMIC...

Is it straite foward and will it benifit the performance?

All i know is..... the STI TMIC has a redish logo on it - "STi"

Better check the size, GC8 are identical apart from colour & a tiny indentation, dunno about GD's

The only difference is the depth. The width and brackets are the same.

This can also be put onto a GC8 but the R/h bracket needs moddifing to fit round the tmic.

The STi Intercooler is actually wider too mate. Have a look at the WRX Splitter and the STi splitter .. They are different also.
